If it does run out of battery power during a cleaning session, the RoboVac will automatically return to the charging station to recharge itself and then resume cleaning where it left off. The charge time for this vac is approximately 3-4 hours.

The app you use to take control of your RoboVac 11S is called the EufyLife app, available for both iOS and Android devices. The app is intuitive and easy to use. Cleaning tasks can easily be set up to suit your schedule, and for any given date you just have to select a frequency between daily, weekly or monthly. Applying an ‘auto’ setting allows you to clean your abode even while you’re post-vacation shame-spiral. More than just a scheduling planner, the app tracks progress so you can see in real time how your robot is moving. Utilizing your smartphone feature of tracking your location, you’ll be able to, for instance, launch a robot clean and, once it disappears under your sofa, pull out your phone, check your app and locate your noisy vacuum using the mapping feature.

Eufy RoboVac 11S Pros and Cons

Pros:

  •  Strong suction: enable to work efficiently – the strong suction power removes dust, dirt, pet hair and other impurities from all kind of surfaces. Which is great for all the homes that have pets or live in the dusty places.
  • Silent option for noise-sensitive homes: works great in homes where noise is a concern, especially for people with family members who work nights or sleep, and allows for vacuuming without intrusion, a the noise pollution of the normal vacuum cleaner.
  • Smart navigating addressing cleaning in totality: Mapped your home by iPath Laser Navigation for comprehensive cleaning coverage.  It conducts cleaning in an intelligent way, so that any area would not be left untreated.
  • Different cleaning modes for different cleaning needs: Auto, Spot and Edge………. Three different modes are available for different needs, giving you a choice of how to clean.
  • Long battery life for longer cleaning sessions: Up to 100 minutes of runtime. You could use it to do touch up spot cleaning anytime on any day. Long battery life makes tiresome, frequent charging unnecessary. usage period allows uninterruptible cleaning.
  • Easy to use and control through the app and voice assistants: easy remote control and voice command, with an interface both on the app and the voice assistant making it convenient for all levels of tech-savvy users.
  • Low price point: An amazing deal for a robot vacuum that does 95 per cent of the work for you. For people who are interested in a low-cost robot vacuum it’s a clear winner.

Cons:

  • May not have adequate suction for very thick carpets: anything more than a sort of medium pile might be too much for the unit’s suction power. This is true for most robot vacuums, especially the cheaper ones – if you have a mainly carpeted home, a more powerful model could be in order.
  • No self-emptying feature: Has to be emptied manually
  • Ok, I wanted to save money and got a regular ‘Robo’ but now I want the feature. What’s an upgraded model with a self-emptying dustbin?
  • No self-emptying feature: Has to be emptied manually
  • Pros: More priced at the high end
  • This is something I get if I’m spending more money already, right?
  • No self-emptying feature: Has to be emptied manually
  • Cons: Still a feature I want
  • That’s the cherry on top of the robot vacuum flavour ice-cream! OK, let’s go with the RoboVac 11S, though! It’s such a good fit. The features I want but not too expensive!
  • Limited wall following capabilities: It didn’t clean quite as close to walls and edges as some other models do.Daniel’s iPath Laser Navigation system is good, but wall-following capability does vary from robot vacuum to robot vacuum. If you’re looking for something that really takes the cake when it comes to edge cleaning, you might need to shop around a little more.

Conclusion: Is the Eufy RoboVac 11S Right for You?

All in all, the Eufy RoboVac 11S is a pretty solid, reasonably priced robot vacuum that delivers impressive cleaning results. I like the slim form factor, reliable power and smart-enough navigation, so it’s a good option for any home with various floor types, as long as you avoid very thick carpets. It’s also a great option if you’re looking for a convenient, hands-off way to keep your floors clean for around $300. That said, the RoboVac 11S probably won’t work for homes with really thick carpets or complex floor layouts. Or if you’d like the added self-emptying feature or more aggressive wall-following, check out either the Eufy RoboVac 11S Max or explore other higher-end robot vacuums.

The RoboVac 11S is a solid, inexpensive, easy-to-use robot vacuum that’ll keep your floors clean with minimal fuss the first time you use it. (The RoboVac 11S costs more, but if you can find a less expensive model, it’s probably a good bargain, too.) While the high-end Samsung bots I tested over the next few weeks cost almost 10 times as much as the RoboVac 11S, I thought long and hard about returning it in favour of one of them … only to find that the fancier bots weren’t that much better.

That makes the RoboVac 11S a great value. And it makes Anker’s RoboVac 11S one of the most compelling offerings in the difficult-to-serve space of robot vacuums. After testing more than a dozen of these bots – cheaper, costlier, and in-between – Anker’s RoboVac 11S finds a balance between functionality and affordability that others in my comparison have mostly overlooked. If you just want a really good, easy-to-use robot vacuum for an incredibly low price, this is the one for you.
